116 people in church...What?!?!

Hola Familia!
This week was a pretty good week! We have had a lot of work this week which has been really nice! We had branch conference so all week we were working with the less-actives trying to get them to commit to coming to the conference and it went really well! We normally have about 65 people in church each week and this week there were 116(: We were all soooo happy! President Artigas, the branch president, told us that we won pizza haha and today he is buying us pizza! The conference went really well! The spirit was so strong! It was awesome being with President and Sister Wagner on there last day here. It was really hard saying bye to them and Sister Wagner made me cry but I am so thankful for the amazing opportunity I had to be able to have them here these past 14 months! I am looking forward to meeting President Clayton this upcoming month and am excited for the things I will be able to learn from him and Sister Clayton.
I am so glad to hear that you are all doing so well back home! Its crazy to think Kaela is a mom and that pretty soon Erika will have her baby as well! I am so happy for them but its still so weird to me haha. I am glad that you guys are having a great summer! I hope you guys have another amazing week! I love you all so much!

New Companion :)

Hola Familia!
I am sorry I didnt write yesterday, we had transfers and I got a new companion here in San Blas! I am training again! I cant believe it haha. But I know it will be a good experience! I am really glad I get to stay here in San Blas(: We have a lot of people to teach and I really like it here! I dont have a ton of time but things are going really well! We had a talent show and movie night on Saturday with all the branches here and it was great! We watched Meet the Mormons and it went really well everyone really liked the movie! We have Branch conference on Sunday and President and Sister Wagner are coming and it will be so cool to be able to see them their last day here! We get our new President on Monday! It is weird that Presidnet and Sister Wagner are leaving but we are all excited to meet President and Sister Clayton! When we went to Guadaljara yesterday I was able to see one of the Elders from Vallarta and he told me that Kevin and his little brother(some of my investigators from Vallarta) both got baptized and that Enrique and Karla will be getting married this week so that Enrique can be baptized! I was SOOO happy to hear such great news from Vallarta(: And as for good news here in San Blas is we have found some really great new investigators this week and we have a lot of people set on date to be baptized. It should be a really great week. My new companion, Hermana Diaz, Is really excited to be here and she is really cool. Im excited to be working with her! I am glad that you guys had a great week and that dad had a good fathers day! I hope mom has a great birthday today! I love you guys SO much! Have an amazing week!!!

Love for Others :)

Hola Familia!!
I cant believe another week has come and gone! It seems like this week was so short!! We had our last zone conference with President and Sister Wagner on Wednesday and it was so sad to know it was our last conference with them :( I really appreciate them and all they have done for me and all I have been able to learn from them so I will really miss them! The conference was really great! We talked about the importance of the Book of Mormon and how it is that through the Book of Mormon we truly can gain such a strong testimony! It was a really great conference! Also, Sister Wagner talked to us about the family and the importance of being sealed to our families and it was really a super spiritual conference! Our new president will get here on June 29th! And I hope that i will stay here in San Blas for the next transfers because President and Sister Wagner will be here in a conference on June 28! So hopefully I will be here and be able to see them again! but also this week we found some great new investigators! One of our investigators is Sol. She is 10 and lives with her aunt and her grandma and they are members and Sol has decided that she as well wants to be baptized. She is really awesome she even said the closing prayer in sacrament meeting yesterday (: it was cool! We had a branch movie night on Friday and watched the Saratov approach.. It was weird watching it as a missionary but it was also really cool because I could understand it a lot more how the missionaries really do pray for their enemies and the people who had taken them hostage and it is something that is just so crazy but so amazing to me. As missionaries we truly are blessed with this love for each and every person we meet. I have had so many experiences when people reject us or ignore us and I just always feel the need to just pray for them to feel the love God has for them and its something that I have really seen here that I cant even explain it really but as a missionary I havce learned to really just love everyone no matter what it is that they say or do and as we come to love those around us we can feel the love God has for us in such amazing ways. This week I have felt extremely blessed to be here and to have the love and support from you guys back home! I am glad to hear you are all doing well and that you are enjoying summer! I hope you guys have another great week! I love you all sooo much!

Jehovah Witnesses :)

hola familia
This week has gone by sooooo fast. I truly ant believe it. It has been a really good week and we have found some really good new investigators. on tuesday we had another really good distrit class. i have really learned a lot from my district classes here. this week has been pretty calm. The only strange thing that happened is the jehovas witnesses stopped by our house one morning during our studies haha they asked us if we knew that after we die there is ressuretion and we taught them the plan of salvation. Im pretty sure they didnt really expect it but it was interesting haha. We had a really cool experience this week with one of our new investigators. his name is Cristopher. his parents are some investigators we have had for awhile but Cristopher was studying with the jehovas witnesses for over a year and they had told him not to talk to us and since he is only 13 he listened to them. However he decided to talk to us the other day and asked if it really was bad if he talked to us. We explained to him that its not bad at all and that we are here to answer any question he has and to help him with whatever we can and he listened to a part of the lesson and told us he wanted to go to church with us on Sunday.  he came to church and stayed all 3 hours and then in the afternoon we saw him walking with his mom and he told us that he was telling his mom how beautiful the church is and how much he liked being there and then he told us that he has decided to change religion and wants to know more about the church. It was such a great experience we were both so excited. We have an appointment with him and his family tomorrow and if all goes as planned he will be able to be baptized July 11. It really was a good week. I hope you guys have another great week. I love you guys so much.

Just another short email :)

I wish we got longer emails from her.  But, what can you do??  She seems to be happy so that's good :)

Hola Familia!!! (:
I can not believe it is already June! Oh how time flies! This week was pretty good! We had a really good district class on Tuesday and we were able to set some new goals as a district to get more people on date for baptism! I am really enjoying being here with Sister Rodriguez! It is a really great area! There is a lot of work here but it is a lot of fun, we are constantly laughing and just truly enjoying being missionaries! On Wednesday we had a lot of really good lessons with some less active members and found some new part memeber families. On Thursday we had weekly planning and were able to put some more goals for this week of work! On friday we had a pretty normal day and then Saturday was an adventure haha. We decided to help Sis.Artigas because she was going to clean the church inside and out with Bro.Francisco so we went to help them and had to fill buckets of water and dump them outside on the pathway to get all the dirt off and we filled like 300 buckets haha it was a lot of work actually but it was really fun and then we went to lunch and then had to return to help the elders clean the church for a baptism and they didnt open the baptismal font early enough so we had to once again fill buckets to dump them in the font but the elders had to go print programs and get all the stuff ready so my comp. and I had to do it all haha it was kinda funny but my arms are sore now lol but the baptism went really well and it was overall a great day! Then yesterday we had 13 less-active members in church(: It was great to see them all there! I am really enjoying my time here in San blas(: I am glad to hear that all is going well back home and that you guys are all doing great! I love you all so much!!
