Last email

Hola Everyone!
I can not believe this day is here. It is unreal to me to think that I am now writing my last email before I will be home. Time has truly flown by so fast. I cant even believe it.
This week I want to take the time to thank you guys for everything you have done for me these last 18 months. I am so blessed to have such an amazing support system. Thank you for all of your emails, cards, letters, packages, sacrifices, and prayers on my behalf! I love you all so much!
I also want you guys to know that I know without a doubt in my mind that this church is true. I know that God lives and loves us all so much. I know that for his love for us he sent his son Jesus Christ here to pay the price of our sins to make it possible for each and everyone of us to return to his presence. I know that Joseph Smith was called as a prophet to restore the gospel and that the Book of Mormon truly is the word of God. I know that if we apply the principles we can learn from this book to our daily lives we will be more like our Savior and live a life full of happiness and joy.
I love this gospel so much and I love my Savior. I am so thankful for this time I have had to serve as a missionary and I am so thankful for all of the many experiences I have had. But more than anything I am thankful that I have had this time to grow closer to my Heavenly Father!
I love you guys so much! Thank you all for all of your love and support I love you all so much and I will see you guys next week!! (:
Love always,
Hermana Searle

It was also great! On saturday we had a meeting with Doctor Stevens and it went well! He talked to us about how to stay more healthy and gave us great advice! I loved it! This upcoming week we have mission council and zone conference! We have a lot of really great lessons planned this week as well! One of our investigators that is really progressing is Julio. He has so much faith and is so willing to accept the gospel in his life. we are working really hard with him so that he can attend church this upcoming week. the past two weeks he has wanted to go but forfamily problems hasnt been able to attend but things are looking good and he will be baptized in November!! Loving the work :)

Hola Familia!
What an amazing week it was! And an even better weekend! This conference was truly amazing! I loved every talk so much and recieved so many answers and personal revelation(: This week we have found some awesome new investigators!! It is so cool seeing how the Lord prepares people to recieve the gospel and how he puts everyone in the right place at the right time. One of our new investigators is Katy. She was a contact in the street. when Sister Aris contacted her I was on splits with other sisters but I got to meet her and she is so awesome! She is a single mom with 5 kidsa nd her and her 2 oldest kids accepted baptismal dates and are SO excited to be able to learn more and grow closer to God. Another new investigator we have is Julio. We also contacted him in the street and he told us that about 3 years ago he was listening to the missionaries in another state and how he really just wants to make changes in his life to help his family and to be a better person. His wife left him with their 4 month old baby and he is really struggling but he is so willing to make changes to be able to make things better for his family. We have some really great lessons for this upcoming week and we also will have the opportunity to have one of the Elders of the 70 of the area come and speak with us on Saturday which will be an amazing week! The work is going so well here and I am loving every minute of being a missionary! I hope that you all enjoyed conference weekend and I hope that you guys were able to recieve answers you may have been looking for! I lvoe you guys so much!! have an amazing week!

Great experiences!!

Hola Familia!!
What an amazing week it has been!!! This week was the last week of the transfer and it went by SO fast! On Tuesday and Wednesday we had our last splits of the transfer! It went really well. I was with sister Garcia and she is from bolivia and actually finished her mission today! She is a really awesome missionary and I had so much fun working with her. On Thursday we had our mission leadership training. It was really good. Sister Aris and I were the only sisters which was a little weird but it was a great meeting! We learned a lot and it was overall a great meeting. This week we did a lot of service here in our area and were able to work with some of the less-active members. But, the weekend was definitley the best part of everything. On Saturday we were able to watch the cultural celebration of the Mexico City temple with some less-active sisters and it was a really cool experience! I really enjoyed it! And then on Sunday the rededication of the Mexico City temple was broadcast here and in all the stake centers in all of mexico. It was such a spiritual experience! I havent ever been in a dedication or rededication of a temple so it was a new experience for me but it was so great. the spirit was so strong and my testimony of temples has truly been strengthened. I didnt get transfered and neither did Sister Aris, yay! So i will be finishing my mission here in Lomas! It is so weird that I am now starting my last transfer, time sure flies! I am looking forward to these next 6 weeks(: I hope that you guys have an amazing week! I love you all SO much!!!(:

Just a couple pics :)

Power of Prayer :)

Hola Family!!!(:
What a week it was! haha this week I was in other areas more than my own haha. On tuesday we had splits with Sister Guzman and Sister Capallan and I was with Sister Guzman in her area! She is a really great missionary and I really enjoyed working with her! On Wednesday afternoon I came back to my area and finished the day here and then on thursday we had our weekly planning and a normal day then Friday it was off to another area with sister Huamani and my companion was in our area with Sister Hernandez! I also really enjoyed working with Sister Huamani, we are so blessed to have really great sisters here in this zone! Then on Saturday we came back to our area and went to the hospital to visit Sister De la fuente because she had been in the hospital since thursday due to a kidney infection(dont worry, she got released today) And we didnt get back home until 9:30 and then Sunday we had church and it was such a great fast and testimony meeting! The spirit was so strong and I loved everyones testimonies! This morning we were able to go back to the hospital with the sisters and help them get all checked out and now they are back in their apartment! Overall it was a super busy week! Something I really am so grateful for though is this week is the comfort I have recieved and the strength my Heavenly Father has given me. It was hard hearing about Josh and Ryan and then having one of the sisters here be hospitalized but as I really prayed and studied in the scriptures I recieved so much peace and I am so thankful for the power of prayer and of fasting. I know that God loves us and I know that he is ALWAYS there for us if we just let him in. I know that as we do what he asks of us we can find peace even in the hardest of times. I am so thankful for the gospel and for the love my savior shows me on a daily basis. I am so thankful for the small and simple things that can always help me to know he is there! I love this work and I love the gospel SO much(: I hope that you guys have another amazing week!

Great week :)

Hola Familia!!
What a fast week it has been!! Things here have been really great! It has been a week full of learning and seeing little miracles! (: On tuesday we had a really great district class in which we talked about the atonement and missionary work and I just love knowing that as a missionary I have the opportunity to teach everyone about Christs atoning sacrifice for us. It was a great meeting. On wednesday we had a normal day with some really good lessons! And on Thursday we had interviews with President Clayton(: When I went into my interview President clayton said, " SIster Searle, it looks like in 2 short months you will be going home in 2 short months, how does that make you feel?" haha and i just lauhged because i felt like it was a thereapy session haha but it was a really great interview! I explained to President that I am getting so excited to see you all again and that I just plan to finishing my mission off strong and he told me to just make sure I take time to enjoy it all! He gave me some really great advice on how I can stay focused but at the same time let the Lord prepare me for when I finish my mission! I really enjoyed the interview! We also had little interviews with Sister Clayton and shes just awesome! haha I love her so much! She gave Sis.Aris and I a special assignment and when we get it all finished I will send you all pictures(:
On Friday and Saturday we had splits with the sisters and I was in the area of the other sisters with Sister Flores. It was really great to work with her. I learned a lot!
On Saturday night the bishop called us and told us we would be speaking in church haha it was a blessing he told us with such little notice so I didnt get too nervous haha but it went well!
Now for the little miracles(:
There is a sister here in the ward who had a surgery a couple weeks ago to remove a tumor. It has been a really hard process for her because she is about 45 and she lives with her mom who has a lot of health problems. Her sister has been here from out of town helping her but, her sisters daughter leaves on her mission September 15 so she needs to get back to her house to help her daughter and the sister who got the surgery had to get another surgery yesterday because there were complications. This sister had some problems with some other sisters in the ward who never really took the time to help others and these sisters have been by her side since the first surgery. they have been preparing her food, staying nights in the hospital with her, visiting her mom and doing all they can to help her. The sisters in this ward have truly come together to make things so much easier for this family! It has been so amazing to see it.
Another story is there is a brother in the ward who is 97 years old and he as well is pretty sick he has cancer and has been in and out of the hospital. When he is in his house we always go and sing him hymns and he just has so much faith in Christ and the plan that God has for him. His wife who is 94 I believe is such a trooper, when I first got here she was in a depression and was so sad but these past couple days she has recieved so much strenght and peace in her life and always tells us she knows that its not a seperation for very much time because she will be with her husband forever. It has been so cool seeing how much peace these people have recieved these last couple weeks.
There are so many things I could share with you guys but I would be writing a book haha but really things are going so well here. I feel so blessed to be in this area and to be able to see the power of Christs atonement in the lives of so many people.
It makes me sad to hear about Ryan. His family will be in my prayers.
I will also be praying for Josh so that he can recover quickly and that the doctors will be guided.
I am so proud of Kendall and how far she has come I know that through her faith and all her hard work she will be able to walk this week! Please keep me updated! I am sorry it was such an emotional week back home but I love you all so much! I know that god has a perfect plan and through Christ we can all find the comfort that we need! I love you all so much!!!

Busy Week For Hermana Searle :)

Hola Familia!!(:
Let the craziness begin haha. So this week I finally came to understand why the STL always were so busy haha. On Tuesday we had our zone class and I was super nervous haha because I had to teach in front of the whole zone but it went SO well! We taught about the opportunities we have as missionaries and it was overall a great class. The Zone leaders did great and rerally brought the spirit and overall it was amazing. When we were finishing I was sharing my testimony about the mission and for the first time I got emotional to really realize Im in the last part of my mission, almost everyone in the zone is a new missionary and it was cool to reflect on when I first started and to make personal goals to finish strong. After the Zone class we had splits with the sisters that are in a trio. I went to their area with Sis.Rodriguez and Sis.Harris and Sis. Aris was with Sis. Mejia here in our area. It was a really great experience! we have really great missionaries here in our zone(: Then on wednesday we finished the splits and I came back to lomas. Wednesday we were able to work hard in our area and on Thursday as well. Then on Friday we had splits with the sisters from Tesistan! I got to be in my area with Sis.patterson(: And Sis.Aris went to the other area with Sis.De la fuente! It was really cool being with Sis. Patterson. She finishes her mission in 3 weeks! She is a great missionary and we have been in the same zone before and are really good friends so I enjoyed working with her! We had a good time and we were able to do a lot of service! we helped on of our investigators prepare all the food she sells and then helped a sister who just had a tumor removed bath all her puppies haha she has a ton of poodles haha it was fun. And then Saturday we switched back again. I really really like working with the other sisters, It is kind of weird leaving my area and being with different campions all the time but I feel like I am learning SO much! Yesterday in church a brother just got home from his mission and gave a talk and it was really good! The spirit was super strong, also a brother from the ward who has been home for about a year talked and he served his mission in Chile(fun fact: him and David Archuleta were companions for 6 months and are like best friends haha) and he talked about how when they first got to chile they didnt have their visas and were stuck in the airport police office for 9 hours but he talked about how there is oppostiton in all things but they all had the faith that things would work out because Gods work will always move forward and it was a cool story! they were able to leave and preach the gospel and all had great experiences!
Things here are really going So well! I love being here so much! I am glad that you guys are all doing great back home! I hope that you guys have another amazing week! I love you guys!

Book of Mormon Challenge

Hola Familia!!
What a great week it has been!! (: This week we had mission council on tuesday and it was such a great meeting! The spirit was so strong and I was able to learn so much. President and Sister Clayton talked to us a lot about how this time as missionaries is our time to prepare us for the rest of our lives and how blessed we are to be a part of this work! It was really an amazing experience! We were also able to have splits with Sister Strong and Sister Diaz(not my companion, another sis. diaz haha) and it went great! I was with Sister strong in her area, she goes home the same day as me and we both were just shocked at how fast time has gone by! It was cool working with her though. She is a really good missionary! On Saturday Indara got baptized(: Indara is 8 and her mom is a less-active memeber and we were teaching her the lessons since she hasnt gone to church much and she was SO happy to be baptized. Her sisters, who are also less-active both gave talks in the baptism and it was such a great service! the spirit was so strong and everyone was just so happy for Indara! (: We are seeing some really great things here and I am really enjoying being in my new area! Starting today I am going to be reading the Book of Mormon one more time in my mission and I would love it if you guys wanted to join me in my 70 day book of mormon challange! (: haha. I know that it might be hard because you guys dont have time set apart each day to study but if you read 7.5 pages a day you can achieve it(: I love this Gospel so much and all the blessings I have seen in my life because of it! I am so glad to know you are all doing so well! I hope you guys have another amazing week! I love you all so much!

Pics of last day in San Blas

last day in San Blas. these two elders are hands down my favorite elders in this mission hah i am going to miss them and their goofy attitudes lol but i am looking forward to being here in Guadalajara

Transferred!!

Hola Familia!!
So, you guys will never guess what happened!! I got transfered!! Its super unreal to me! I thought for sure I would finish my mission in San Blas, especially because my companion still has 6 weeks left of her training! But, I got called as a new sister training leader here in Guadalajara! When the elders told me I seriously thought they were joking haha but I am really excited and nervous for my new assignment(:
I am with Hermana Aris! She got here in the mission field the same day as I did, but since she was only in the CCM for 2 weeks she finishes her mission 6 weeks after me! I am really excited to work with her and all of the other sister here in our zone! My last week in San Blas went really well! We had a lot of really good lessons and were able to see a lot of progress there! The craziest part though is they closed my area! And now Elder Sosa and Elder Allen will have all of San Blas as their area! It was really weird saying buy to everyone so soon because I was only there 3 months but I know things happen for a reason! This week Hna.Aris is going to teach me how to be a sister training leader and hopefully I will be able to learn quickly(: I really just feel so blessed to have this time to learn from all of the sisters and President Clayton told me he wants me to finish my mission as a sister training leader so my last two transfers should be full of amazing experiences!
I also want to thank you guys for the package!!! (: I love the shirt and my hoodie and I was in need of a new journal and everything you guys sent was so perfect so thank you guys so much! I am glad I have my favorite snacks from back home(: haha
I love you guys SO much and I hope you all have an amazing week!!!
Love always,
